[edit] General Tips

[edit] Height and Weight

Height and weight have some impact on a player's performance. They are randomly generated (within a realistic set of parameters) when you create your character but you are able to adjust them to the height and weight that you would like. Shorter players have better agility and stamina, but lower jumping and vision. The opposite is true for taller players. Lighter players have better speed and stamina, but lower strength and tackling skills. The opposite is true for heavier players.

Max Height and Weight

Offense

QB: 5'11" - 6'5", 189-225 Lbs.

RB: 5'11" - 6'3", 180-219 LBS

[edit] Stamina

Stamina is crucial for any player. It doesn’t matter how good your player is if he is warming the bench. Furthermore, increase your player statistics as he's on the field more.

Items that matter when considering how much stamina is enough:

  • Your energy at the end of the game. Energy settings your energy will automatically be reset to 100 at nightly roll over. However, the amount of energy your player has in the game will not be changed.
  • Your team's depth and stamina settings
  • Your strength (for O and D-linemen, the stronger you are, the slower you get tired)
  • Whether your team asks that you play on Normal or Hard most of the time

[edit] Boosting

  • You can boost your player up to 3 levels per season during the first 7 seasons of your player's existence. You will need Flex Points or Reward Points to do this.

  • Season 1 (player age 40):

-12 levels
-3 boosts
-Player that boosts would be level 16

  • Season 2 (player age 80):

-10 levels
-3 boosts
-Player that boosts would be level 29

  • Season 3 (player age 120):

-8 levels
-3 boosts
-Player that boosts would be level 40

  • Season 4 (player age 160):

-7 levels
-3 boosts
-Player that boosts would be level 50

  • Season 5 (player age 200):

-5 levels
-3 boosts
-Player that boosts would be level 58

  • Season 6 (player age 240):

-5 levels
-3 boosts
-Player that boosts would be level 66

  • Season 7 (player age 280):

-3 levels
-3 boosts
-Player that boosts would be level 72

  • Season 8-12 (player age 281-480):

-No game or training XP. Player enters extended plateau dependent upon number of boosts as follows:

  • 20 boosts = 200 days (5 seasons)

-10 days for each boost <20
0 boosts = 0 days

Season 13 (player age 481+):

No game or training XP. Player enters decline (See decline section below)

  • To Boost click on the Flex Points tab at the top of the page, then where it says 'Level Up a Player', click boost from their player page and it will give you a drop down box where you select how many times you would like to boost your player (up to 3) each season. You can also click on the "boost players" link above your player list on your agent page. From there you can boost multiple players at a time by selecting which player(s) to level up and how many levels (up to 3) you want to boost them.
  • It cost the same amount per level to boost a player as it cost to create him.
  • Read more about Boosting
  • Allow for up to 3 boosts (no limitations) once a player enters plateau. A player could use this to boost from level 69 to level 72 or to take a player from level 73 to 76 if they so wished. Limitation - can only use this to boost up to a maximum level of 79.

[edit] Decline

Every 8 days, the player will lose a percentage of his stats. Strength, Speed, Agility, and Jumping all decline at the following rate:

The player's ages are hypothetical, decline will begin after a Player's extended plateau period has ended so the exact dates will vary.

  • 389 days old to 428 days old (player's 12th season): 1% every 8 days (net loss of -5%)
  • 429 days old to 468 days old (player's 13th season): 2% (net of -15%)
  • 469 days old to 508 days old (player's 14th season): 3% (net of -30%)
  • 509 days old to 548 days old (player's 15th season): 4% (net of -50%)
  • 549 days old to 588 days old (player's 16th season): 5% (net of -75%)
