Team/Player Tactics – the team tactics are set by the owner or the GM, while the player tactics are set by you. Right now the tactics are very basic, but that will change over the course of the season while the devs and admins continue coding. With good scouting and a good gameplan, teams can overcome their deficiencies and can potentially beat people with levels higher than them. For example, if the opponent is a good running team and the defense is set to stop the run, and they run too much they will not gain as much yardage. Player tactics can make the difference between winning and losing a close game.

[edit] Play Intensity

  • Relaxed: use less energy, but play at a reduced level
  • Normal: normal energy use.
  • Hard: use more energy, but play at a higher level

[edit] How do individual player tactics play into a gameplan?

You will need to indicate what type of gameplan you're going to execute in order for each individual player to set their advanced tactics. If their tactics coincide with your gameplan, you will have a lot more success. For example, the QB has individual settings of how often he scrambles and who his top receiving targets are. If you want to play a short passing game, you'll want him to set the receivers to the possession receivers/TE or FB, not a speed receiving deep threat. Communication with your team before a game is very important to get each individual's advance tactics to sync up with your gameplan.
