[edit] Playoff Seeding

Playoff seeding is done by taking the top 8 teams in each conference by record and listing them 1-8. Ties are broken by the following Tiebreakers. The #1 seed will play the #8 seed in the first round, #2 plays #7, #3 plays #6, #4 plays #5. The higher seed number determines home field advantage.

[edit] Playoff Seeding Tiebreakers

(Updated for Season 13)
When two or more teams have the same regular season record, seeding comes down to the following tiebreakers.

To determine the winner of a tie within a Conference the following Tiebreakers go into effect:

  1. If there are only 2 teams tied (same record), higher seed is the winner of the head-to-head match up.
  2. If there are more than 2 teams tied (same record), then it's based upon these factor in this order:
    1. Number of head-to-head wins against the other tied teams with the same record.
    2. Number of total points allowed.
    3. Number of total points scored.

[edit] League Championship Home Team

The league championship home team is decided by the following factors.

  1. Regular Season Record
  2. Number of points allowed.
  3. Number of points scored.

[edit] Home Team Seeding
